Perfect for weekend. Located in 2 miles from chateau de pau. We ate at the tapas restaurant adjacent to the hotel...
-
Good base for a weekend in Pau! 9 miles away from Pau Pyrenees airport. Nothing to complain about, I can't wait to go back❤

The staff at the hotel were outstanding, the food at the resturant was very good, the breakfast was very good. The hotel is within walking distance of down town.
-
A beutiful hotel in a quiet setting yet still convenient for the centre of Pau. The staff were very helpful and the room was generous and comfortable.
-
This was a lovely hotel very peaceful staff where so helpful and very friendly nothing was a problem to them. Room was very comfy
The price of breakfast was very step at £18 per person per day I thought the tv would have had more british channels. Got the girl on reception to call for a taxi and was charged for this service I would have thought with what you pay for your room they could give you free phone calls for a taxi!!

It was beautiful. The rooms were very well apportioned - great linens. Dinner was lovely - loved the food and the staff.
-
Excellent breakfast and a good quiet location near the city. The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom well appointed but poorly lit.
-
Building was comfortable and design excellent Staff were extremely helpful and eager to make our stay enjoyable. Gardens were relaxing and outdoor furnishing made the garden and veranda most welcoming
WE consider that the food was both overpriced and the choices limited. On our first night particularly the memu was limited and had to settle for starters only 2nd night was better if expensive We have travelled in France for the past 8 years and just back from 2 weeks there. Breakfast in Navarre at € 19 PP is without doubt the most expensive we have come across with nothing special to justify that price

The character of the hotel
The bar service was not up to standard, room service was not good
-
It is an amazing hotel considering it was once a private residence. Our room was very luxurious and the restaurant was great. We would return.
-
Beautiful location
Plumbing in the new rooms is appalling. Air-conditioning is too loud to be able to sleep whilst turned on. Breakfast is too restricted on choice to justify €19 per person. No healthy options, fruit basket filled with over-ripe fruits and fruit salad made partly with tinned fruit!

The hotel is really quite impressive and beautiful- elegant and sophisticated Our room was modern, clean, and comfortable.
The back gardens are beautiful but rather inaccessible. There is a beautiful pool in the back, but the hotel should have had lawn chairs out in the back and served drinks Our main disappointment was that the hotel was quite far from the downtown area of Pau.

Loved it! Staff were so helpful. Room was fab, bed very comfy, magazines and books galore to read. Pool and jacuzzi were open 24hours. Grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was great. I really wanted to stay longer.
Only thinnI can say is that we weren't able to have dinner here because the restaurant was full -a good sign I suppose. Otherwise everything was perfect.
